This workshop is an invitation to value your ideas, your time, your energy in a space focused on restoration and creativity. You don’t have to be a writer. You don’t have to be a yogi, you only need to show up as you, because sometimes in all the hustle of life as an adult woman, who we are and what we want to say get’s a little drowned out.

As a memoir writer and through hosting Writers Meet Ups in West London, I’ve seen the power and the magic when women come together. I wanted to go deeper into that energy with the workshop and use supportive techniques to explore further in a place of calm, hope and resilience. We are so much stronger together, and community is such a gift, it’s something that has held me when I’ve needed it, and I in turn wanted to create that experience for other women.

By inviting this connection between mind, body, and breath - my hope is to guide you in discovering your inner voice to fully embrace your personal journey. Alongside my work as an integrative psychotherapist and clinical supervisor I teach weekly yoga and spin classes. I see the interplay between releasing physical and emotional energy and how we can channel it into healing."

When we come together on Saturday 8 March, it’s going to be a very special couple of hours. Maybe it’ll be the start of something new. See it as an opportunity to move, to breath, to create and connect. Let's celebrate together on International Women's Day.

It’ll be facilitated by me, Amy Beeson and Claudine van de Vyver a Yoga Teacher & Psychotherapist. We’ll be serving fruit plate, pastries and tea. All the props and mats will be provided. It’s taking place in a really gorgeous little studio in Parson’s Green. There’s only 12 spaces so it’ll I think it will feel like a gathering of old souls by the end.
